Collection of Contact Information
When you choose to create an account or log in to an existing account within our application, you may grant us permission to access and store contact information from your device’s address book. This information is only collected after you have explicitly granted permission through your device’s standard permission dialog and have agreed to create or log in to an account.
How We Use Contact Information
The contact information we collect is used solely for the following purposes:
- To allow you to create and maintain your personalized “top five” contact list within our application
- To sync your selected contacts across multiple devices when you log in to your account
Storage and Security of Contact Information
Any contact information you share with us is:
- Securely transmitted to our servers using industry-standard encryption protocols
- Stored in encrypted format on secure servers
- Associated only with your user account
- Retained only for as long as you maintain an active account with our service
Third-Party Sharing
We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your contact information to any third parties for any purpose. Your contact information remains strictly within our systems and is used exclusively to provide the syncing functionality described above.
Your Control Over Contact Information
You maintain complete control over your contact information and can:
- Revoke access to contacts at any time through your device settings
- Delete specific contacts from your saved list within the application
- Request complete deletion of all stored contact information by contacting us at [email protected]
- Delete your account, which will automatically remove all associated contact information from our servers
Changes to Contact Information Practices
If we make any material changes to how we collect, use, or store contact information, we will notify you through an in-app notification and update this privacy policy accordingly.
