Join us for Member Retreat!

Join us as we come together with current members of Clear Creek Community Church for a two-day retreat at Moody Gardens where you’ll be encouraged, inspired, and equipped in becoming fully devoted followers of Christ! You will enjoy hearing from our leaders, seeing old friends, making new connections, and joining in worship with all campuses.

FAQs

DONT USE

There is no prior registration to attend a student event for the first time. They will be greeted by a volunteer at the front door where they will fill out a new student card to gather student and parent information. We highly suggest junior high parents to accompany their student on their first visit to ensure we get accurate information. After this they will be able to be checked in every week.

Where is the event located?
The Retreat is located at Moody Gardens Hotel and Convention Center. The address is 7 Hope Blvd, Galveston TX. We recommend parking in the convention center parking garage (it is free). Our event is held in the Convention Center portion of the hotel.
What if I can only attend a portion of the event?
If you can only attend certain portions of the event, please email Elizabeth Garcia @ [email protected]. Depending on what you are able to attend will alter how you register. 
What does my cost include?
Member pricing is $90 and includes access to Moody Gardens’ conference facilities, a one-night stay at the hotel, breakfast and lunch, and a 2027 Member Retreat T-shirt.
Actual cost per person in 2026 for this event was $241.89. Clear Creek supplements the member portion of this event because we believe in investing in the lives of our members, equipping our navigators, and stacking hands together as we become fully devoted followers of Jesus.
What are the accommodations?
The registration cost includes one night stay at Moody Gardens hotel. Every room beds two
people, if you are not attending with a spouse, you will have a roommate. In your
registration you can request a roommate.
What meals are included for the weekend?
Dinner Friday evening is on your own. Breakfast and Lunch Saturday are provided.
I have dietary restrictions/ food allergies, what do I need to do?
Please write your accommodations in the additional notes of your registration form. We will be in
contact closer to the event to inform you of the menu options that will be served.
What do we do at the retreat?
There will be time for our yearly membership celebration, worship, the Lord’s Supper,
teaching, breakouts and more!
What do we pack?
The dress is casual, and you will receive a t-shirt you can choose to wear. We recommend you
pack a Bible, notebook, pen, refillable water bottle, and games for Friday evening fun.
Are scholarships available?
Yes! We don’t want money to be the reason you cannot attend Member Retreat. Please complete the following form to request a scholarship: Membership Retreat Scholarship Request

Is childcare available?
We do not provide childcare. We ask that you make childcare arrangements as children cannot attend the event. Exceptions are made for small infants. We want Member Retreat to be a restful, distraction-free experience for everyone. With that in mind, we ask that mobile children stay home. Newborns are welcome, but we ask that caregivers be respectful of those around them and step out if their little one becomes a distraction.
How does Check-In work?
We will have Retreat check-in available from 3:00-5:00p on Friday in the Convention Center. You will also need to check in with Moody Gardens at their front desk OR on their app if you are staying the night.

This event is offered only to current members of CCCC as the agenda will include the annual vote on the budget and the trustees, and the affirmation of elders.
