Counseling
Clear Creek Community Church collaborates with Bay Area Church to provide professional counseling services through LifeTree Counseling Center.
LifeTree Counseling Center exists to provide access to high quality, clinically competent counseling to everyone in League City and the greater Galveston Bay area. Services are offered to children, adolescents, individuals, and families.
LifeTree’s approach to counseling is Christ-centered and biblically based. Professionally licensed counselors assist clients in learning healthy boundaries, coping skills, parenting skills, and healthy self-care in order to improve their quality of life and become more fully devoted followers of Christ.

Counselors
Tara Warner
Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, Chemical Dependency Counselor
Tara holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Counseling. She is dual licensed as a Professional Counselor and a Chemical Dependency Counselor. Her experience includes working with adolescents, adults and couples with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, anger, substance abuse, and mood and personality disorders. She specializes in couples and marriage counseling. Tara began practicing in 2014 and has seen clients at Clear Creek Community Church since 2016.

Lindsey Lehtinen
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Lindsey holds a Masters degree in Social Work. She has been licensed with a Masters in Social Work since 2006 and as a Clinical Social Worker since 2012. Her experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, and families with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, self-harm, suicidality, parenting skills, grief and loss, postpartum issues, and support to strengthen families. She has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, schools, and outpatient clinics. She specializes in trauma and adolescents.

Debra Thompson
Registered Nurse, Licensed Professional Counselor
Debra holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Arts in Behavioral Sciences. She has been licensed as a professional counselor since 1983. As a registered nurse, she specialized in pediatric and psychiatric nursing and has worked in several hospitals as well as inpatient psychiatric treatment centers. As a counselor, she specializes in working with children, adults, and families coping with mental health issues and other life controlling problems. She does not practice marriage counseling. Debra began practicing counseling at Clear Creek Community Church in 2011.
