Small group is the best way to get connected at Clear Creek outside of regular services. In small group, we do life together, cultivate relationships, and study God’s word, all with the intention of helping one another grow as fully devoted followers of Jesus.
You can join a small group at one of our Grouplink events (typically in January, April, and September), or you can fill out the form below to let us know you’re interested in joining a group now. We’ll let you know if there are any openings or when we expect more groups to be open so you can save the date on your calendar.
Register for our upcoming connection event called GroupLink so you can see the available groups and select which one you want to join.
GroupLink is our main avenue for connecting people into small groups. It is a connection event that happens three times a year where you can check out the available groups, meet the group leaders, ask questions, and join one that is the right for you.
Starting Point is an eight-week conversation where you can discuss the questions or concerns you have about faith—free from pressure and judgement.
When do small groups meet?
Groups meet throughout the week on different days and times. We encourage groups to attend all campus events together and break from having group that week. Group should happen at a pace that is sustainable for its members.
What do small groups study?
All studies are pre-approved Clear Creek elders so that the curriculum reflects our beliefs and values to repent and believe, listen and obey, love and serve, and go and multiply.
Where do small groups meet?
Groups meet in people’s homes throughout the Bay Area. The campus closest to you will offer groups that meet closest to you.
What kinds of small groups are available?
We offer married groups, men’s groups, women’s groups, and mixed groups (open to everyone). We also offer a group for those who have little to no knowledge of Jesus, the gospel and Christianity which is known as Starting Point.
How much of a time commitment is a small group?
Groups typically meet once a week for one-to-two hours and for a period of 18 to 24 months. During the week you will likely be asked to complete a small amount of homework or reading before the next week’s meeting.
Do small groups provide childcare?
Groups are focused on adult spiritual growth within a relational context. Most groups do not provide childcare.
